Swell Time

Moving forward, just not sure where we're going, but at least we're having a swell time when we do it.

The nurse and the man

The nurse looked down at the man lying on the table.  When he came to the hospital, he was alone.  Someone found him asleep at a coffee shop but he would not wake up.  For a few days he remained stable but would not wake up.

Janet finished taking the man’s vitals.  She looked out the window before leaving the room.  The snow the weather man predicted finally started.  Janet looked down one more time to make sure her patient was doing well and he opened his eyes.

“Well hello there.”  Janet said.  “It is good to see you awake.  I’m going to go and get the doctor.”  The man reached up and grabbed her arm before she could walk out.  His mouth tried to form words, but nothing came out.  Janet yelled down the hall for help.
