Moving forward, just not sure where we're going, but at least we're having a swell time when we do it.
Surgery was tough. But in a lot of ways recovery was tougher. Who knew that I would be knackered from just sitting around every day? I didn’t know.
Not only was it exhausting, but it takes a toll.
The other day I saw a solicitation to find people to lie in bed for 60 days. And there would have been a time when I would have thought it was awesome. But now I know that after about 12 hours (a good nights sleep followed by a nice long nap) I would be over it.
There are many things we take for granted. Hopefully, after everything, I won’t take my mobility for granted.
Indeed, we miss it so dearly when mobility is gone!
