Do we really want free and fair elections? Most people in the United States take for granted that once they register to vote, they remain eligible to vote. Unfortunately, there are voter laws in some states that make it far to easy to cull the number of voters, something as simple as a returned piece of mail can mean the difference between being allowed to vote and not.
There are people in our country who believe that everyone voting is a bad thing. It is easier to stay in power, when you can limit the number of people voting, especially those who challenge your position.
The right to vote is something we should appreciate and not take for granted.
