We hear these words and sometimes say these words. But do we really grasp the magnitude of this two-word phrase?
Unconditional, without conditions. There is no but, if only, when, or other phrases added to this kind of love. You give unconditional love, no matter what- period.
Saying you love someone unconditionally means you run the risk of having your words conflict with your actions.
With regard to romantic love most of us add conditions. It is easy to say I love you unless you cheat on me or I love you except when you are mean to me.
However, it can get complicated when it comes to kids. Parents will say they love their kids unconditionally, and many do. But some parents say they love their kids no matter what, until they are faced with some issues- then what?
