Moving forward, just not sure where we're going, but at least we're having a swell time when we do it.
I don’t always watch Jeopardy, but when I do it is usually with my mother.
When we watch regular Jeopardy, I realize my mother would make a great contestant. She knows most of the answers. At times I feel a little bit like the people in the Geico commercial, everybody knows that. I realize I may not be Jeopardy material.
But when we watch the special Jeopardy events for the kids, high schoolers, and celebrities I do pretty well, I can question a lot of the answers. I know I am too old to be a contestant against the kids, though may have been a good complement to Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? when that was on the air.
I think my niche is with the celebrities. However there is one slight drawback, I don’t think I actually count as a celebrity. So I was thinking instead I could be a sub for a celebrity and play on their behalf. The format stays the same, the prize money is for charity, and I get to go television to be a contestant. I may run into some trouble if I play against a celebrity who is a member of Mensa, but it’s a risk I am willing to take.
